Offshore Series
Our Offshore series consists of 5 races throughout the season. This series sails courses anywhere from 20-30 nautical miles. The course area spans from Bate Bay to Botany Bay, Sydney Harbour, and Shellharbour. Yachts need to have current Cat 4 safety.
Short Ocean Series
This Series, does short ocean races, where the courses from 12 – 18 nautical miles. The course area spans from Bate Bay, Wattamolla and Botany Bay. Yachts need to have current Cat 4 safety.
Passage Series
The Passage Series is the alternate series to the offshore series, held on the same days. Designed for the yachts that would rather race around the cans in Bate Bay. This series has 5 races and has several different course variations raced in the bay. Yachts need to have a current Cat 7+ safety.
Estuary Series
Our Estuary Series is the alternate series to the short ocean series, and held on the same days. Designed for the yachts that would like race in the sheltered yet tricky waters of the Port Hacking Estuary. There are many course variations for the race officers to choose from. Great series to enter in as stepping stone from twilight racing to Saturday racing. Yachts need to have current Cat 7+ safety.
Triangle Series
The Triangle series, is open to all yachts. It comprimises of 5 races, the course is Olympic style triangle courses. The course is set up in Bate Bay and run by our race management team. Yachts need to have current Cat7+
Cruising Short Course Series
Cruising Short Course series, is a mix of short course versions of the Triangle Series, Estuary Series & Passage Series. Its for the cruising boats that want to be out on the water with the rest of the fleet, without having to sail the same amount of miles. Is a great series for beginners, getting use to their yachts before, sailing further afield. The series is broken into Pre Xmas and Post Xmas and has a total 14 races.
Mixed Sprint Series
Our mixed sprint series, is held over 3 race days throughout the season and has a total of 6 races. Being a mixed series, means any yacht can enter. From the results of the series, we run a 3 sub series, which include J24, Beneteau 7.5, and VX Ones. Each of which are contending for related trophies to their class of yacht as well as being the mixed sprint series champion.
