Offshore Division
Our Offshore boats race every second Saturday during the year. This division sails courses anywhere from 12-25 nautical miles. The course area spans from Bate Bay to Botany Bay, Sydney Harbour, Flinders Island and Shellharbour meaning all boats must have Cat4 Safety Certificate.
Inshore Division 1
This division races every second Saturday during the year and is mostly made up of boats over 30ft. Races alternate between Bate Bay and Short ocean courses which are 22 nautical miles or less. All boats require Cat4 Safety Certificate.
Inshore Division 2
Inshore Division 2 is for boats under 30ft and hold a Cat 7+ Safety Certificate. This fleet currently consists of J24’s and Hoods. They race every second Saturday performing a combination of Bate Bay, Triangle, Passage Estuary and Sprint courses.
Cruising Division
The Cruising Division is a great introduction to club sailing. This is a non-spinnaker fleet for all sized boats with a Cat7+ Safety Certificate. They sail every second Saturday in Bate Bay and sail a range of Passage, Estuary and Triangle courses. This could be your next step up from Friday Night Twilight Sailing in Gunnamatta bay.
Two Handed Division
The Two Handed Division is open to all boats. They race once a month on a Saturday in a combined series with our neighbours up the bay, the Royal Motor Yacht Club.
Etchell Division
The Etchell Division is one design racing at its best. They sail every second Saturday in Sprint races on Bate Bay.
